Unless you’ve been living under a rock (or on Laura Moore’s street), you’ll know exactly what ChatGPT is and how practically every tool we use nowadays has some sort of AI feature incorporated into it. Most of us have at least had a little dabble into it to see what it can do – and of course, we’ve all heard the horror stories about how the robots are coming to take our jobs! However, anyone who’s used ChatGPT (other AI platforms are available) knows that it cannot write copy to save its life and you really can spot AI-generated writing a mile away! So, with that in mind, how can a social media manager use AI in their business? And how do we love to use it in ours?

Once you’ve worked out how you might like to include AI tools in your business, we’re then getting onto the ethical side of things – do your clients need to know that you’ve used it? Is it misleading or wrong to put a post out that was created from an AI-generated list of ideas? What about contracts and insurance cover? It really is a complete minefield, so we’re attempting to break down our thoughts on AI and how it should be used in today’s podcast episode.
