Our biggest hill that we’ll die on is that “social media management is not an admin job” – and every time we say that, we get a tonne of backlash about it. We really don’t think it’s that controversial though, and in today’s episode we’re explaining exactly why we hold this opinion.
When it comes to social media management, probably the main reason that people believe that it is an admin role is because it’s so accessible. Literally anyone can grab a phone, make a new Instagram account and whack up some posts. But if they haven’t got any strategy behind why they’re posting, there’s not really any point to it. It’s not easy to come up with a social media strategy – and not everyone can do it.
