When you’ve started your business for freedom and promptly end up burnt out with no freedom at all, it’s really easy to pack up your bags and leave the freelance world. We don’t want that for you! Burnout is avoidable – even as a freelance social media manager – so today’s episode is the one you need if you think it might come knocking at your door soon.
There’s a lot to do when running your own business: from juggling clients and all of their content, to marketing your own services or even working out what tool you need to use to host your freebie… and that’s just the start of it. Throw in networking, trying to switch off in the evenings or even trying to take time off and suddenly it’s pretty obvious why burnout is so common. Sorry if we’re not selling a very fun picture of self-employment here, but it doesn’t have to be stressful – you just have to know a few tips and tricks that can dramatically cut down on your workload and reduce the overwhelm.
So, notebooks out, but don’t spend too long trying to choose which tip you’re going to try out first – just start!
In this episode, we’re chatting about:
- The main reasons freelance social media managers experience burnout
- 3 things you can incorporate into your business that will help you to feel less stressed
- How our new tool Hubsy could help you to reduce overwhelm in your business
- Why sometimes it just comes down to having a “JFDI” attitude (and if you still don’t know what that stands for, we tell you!)
